What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy due to non-payment of rent. An order was issued in favor of the Landlord. The Tenant subsequently filed a review request, claiming she was unable to participate effectively in the hearing due to technical issues and arguing that there were errors regarding rent amounts and maintenance issues (Section 82).

The ruling

The LTB denied the Tenant's request to review the order dated July 24, 2025. The original order, which terminated the tenancy and required the Tenant to pay $23,868.00 in rent arrears, remains in full effect. The Board found the Tenant's claims of technical difficulties and legal errors were not supported by the hearing record.
