What happened

The Landlord originally applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. An order was issued in June 2025. The Tenant requested a review of that order. During the review hearing, both parties reached a consent agreement. The Tenant was allowed to regain possession of the rental unit, and a payment plan was established to resolve the rent arrears owing up to August 31, 2025.

The ruling

The review request was granted, and the original eviction order was cancelled. By consent, the Tenant is to be reinstated into the rental unit immediately. The Tenant must pay $1,219.91 in arrears through a payment plan of $150.00 monthly from October 2025 to April 2026, with a final payment of $169.91 in May 2026. Failure to comply allows the Landlord to apply for an ex parte eviction order under Section 78.
