What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 30, 2024. The Tenant must move out by that date. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $8,421.94 in compensation for use of the unit from June 1, 2023 to January 17, 2024. If the unit is not vacated by June 30, 2024, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
