What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 notice by paying the rent arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $8,140 by May 31, 2023 or $9,157 by June 30, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must move out by June 4, 2023 and pay the Landlord $7,490.84 plus daily compensation of $33.44 from May 12, 2023 until move-out.
