What happened
The Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy alleging that the Tenant or a person permitted by the Tenant seriously impaired the safety of others in the residential complex and substantially interfered with the Landlords' reasonable enjoyment. During the hearing, the parties reached a mutual agreement to terminate the tenancy.
The ruling
On consent, the tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2025. The Tenant is ordered to pay the July rent by July 1, 2025. The security deposit will cover the final month's rent in August. If the Tenant fails to vacate by August 31, the Landlord can enforce eviction through the Sheriff starting September 4, 2025, and the Tenant will owe daily compensation of $88.77.
