What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict an Unauthorized Occupant after the Tenant allegedly transferred occupancy without consent. An initial order (A2 Order) granted the eviction. The Unauthorized Occupant requested a review, claiming serious errors regarding the statute of limitations and the Board's failure to consider specific testimony from the superintendent. The Vice Chair determined that while minor typographical errors existed in the original order (such as referencing a non-existent section of the Act), they were not serious and did not change the outcome. The review request was denied, and the original eviction order was confirmed.

The request for review is denied. Order LTB-L-098001-24 remains unchanged, confirming the termination of the tenancy and the eviction of the Unauthorized Occupant. The stay of the original order is lifted immediately.
