What happened

The Landlord applied to evict the Tenant for non-payment of rent and NSF charges. The Tenant attended the hearing, citing mobility issues, three dependent children, and reliance on ODSP as reasons for difficulty finding new housing. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays the outstanding amount by specified deadlines. The eviction is postponed until May 31, 2025, to allow the Tenant time to find new housing. If the Tenant fails to pay the required amount to void the order, she must move out by that date. If the tenancy is terminated, the Tenant owes the Landlord $1,156.63 plus daily compensation of $12.85 from April 1, 2025.
