What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because they failed to pay rent. The Tenants were served with a valid N4 Notice but did not pay the arrears or void the notice. The Tenants failed to attend the hearing despite being properly served.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 18, 2025, unless the Tenants pay $5,926.12 to void the order. If the Tenants do not void the order, they must vacate by the termination date and pay the Landlord $1,508.05 plus daily compensation of $42.03 until they move out.
