What happened

Tenants applied for judicial review of a 2012 Landlord and Tenant Board decision and 2013 reconsideration decision, more than 6 years after the appeal deadline. The court dismissed the application as the tenants failed to exhaust their appeal rights under the Residential Tenancies Act.
