What happened

The Landlord requested a review of an order dated June 23, 2025, which dismissed an application to terminate the tenancy. The Landlord alleged that the Tenant knowingly misrepresented her household income by failing to include her boyfriend's income. The original hearing member found that the boyfriend was not a member of the household as he maintained his own separate residence. The Landlord sought a review on the grounds of serious errors in fact and law.

The ruling

The request to review order LTB-L-091832-24 is denied. The original order, which dismissed the Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy for misrepresentation of income, remains unchanged. The Board found no serious error in the hearing member's determination that the Tenant's boyfriend was not a member of the household.
