What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 Notice by paying rent arrears and was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $16,494.00 by July 9, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated and the Tenant must move out. Daily compensation of $27.29 will be owed to the Landlord from June 18, 2024, until move-out.
