What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the LTB on June 28, 2022 with respect to application LTB-L-002203-21. The Tenants failed to pay the full lawful monthly rent on or before May 1, 2023 and failed to pay $400.00 towards arrears on or before May 15, 2023.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 11, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,851.84 plus $46.03 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting July 1, 2023 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by July 11, 2023, they will start owing interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
