What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex. The Landlords also applied for an order requiring the Tenants to pay for damages to the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 9, 2022. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $9,766.33, which includes rent arrears, application filing fees, and damages to the rental unit, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenants do not vacate by July 9, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
