What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $1,684 by January 31, 2024 or $2,516 by February 24, 2024 to void the order. If the Tenant does not pay, they must move out by February 24, 2024. The Landlord is entitled to deduct $27.35 per day for compensation for the Tenant's continued occupation after December 22, 2023.
