What happened
The Landlord, TBDSSAB, applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant, Mike Toset, due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, but the Tenant did not void the notice by paying the rent arrears. The Tenant was not present at the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $10,986 by June 30, 2023 or $11,855 by July 16, 2023 to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must vacate the unit by July 16, 2023 and pay the Landlord $10,259.85 plus daily compensation.
