What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord has entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The Landlord's application to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant is granted. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by January 12, 2025. If the Tenant does not vacate by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement, and the Tenant must pay the Landlord $69.28 per day for use of the unit until they vacate.
