What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenants failed to pay $280 towards the outstanding arrears by the due date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 2, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $901.82, which includes the remaining arrears from the previous order and daily compensation for occupying the unit after the order was issued, less the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenants. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by July 2, 2023, they will owe interest starting July 3, 2023.
