What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's failure to meet certain conditions specified in a mediated settlement agreement. The Tenant failed to pay rent and arrears by the agreed upon due dates.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $14,575.05 plus $61.69 per day starting July 20, 2023 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 30, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
