What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 15, 2023, provided that the Landlord pays the Tenant one month's rent in compensation no later than the termination date. If the Tenant does not vacate by November 15, 2023 and the Landlord has paid the compensation, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
