What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year. The Tenant requested a review of the order.

The ruling

The Board found the N12 notice of termination was defective because it did not name all the Tenants, including Janelle Dorsett, who the Board determined is a Tenant of the rental unit. The Landlord requested the consent of the Board to withdraw their application, and the Board consented to the request.
