Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year.
The ruling
The Landlord's application is dismissed. The Landlord, Muhammad Arshad Siddiqi, shall pay the Tenant, Hazem Gabr, the amount of $100.00 on or before October 6, 2024. If the Landlord does not pay the Tenant the full amount owing on or before October 6, 2024, the Landlord will start to owe interest at 7.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
