What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year by the Landlords, the Landlords' spouse, and the Landlords' child.
The ruling
The Landlords have proven on a balance of probabilities the grounds for termination of the tenancy under the N12 notice. The tenancy is terminated as of April 30, 2025. However, the eviction is postponed until April 30, 2025 to provide the Tenants additional time to find alternative housing.
