What happened

The Tenant filed a review request for an order issued on September 24, 2025, which terminated the tenancy and ordered eviction based on allegations that the Tenant seriously impaired the safety of others and caused willful damage. The Tenant argued that the original hearing Member's refusal to grant an adjournment (after the Tenant dismissed her lawyer) was a denial of procedural fairness and that the eviction date of September 30, 2025, was unreasonable. The Review Member found that the original adjudicator exercised proper discretion and that the Tenant's behavior, including unauthorized entry into another tenant's unit, justified the decision.

The ruling

The Tenant's request for a review of the eviction order was denied. The LTB confirmed that the original order issued on September 24, 2025, remains unchanged, meaning the tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must vacate as previously ordered due to serious safety concerns and damages.
