What happened

The Landlords filed an application to terminate the tenancy and evict an unauthorized occupant. The Tenant had informed the Landlords she had moved out and left her daughter in the rental unit without the Landlords' consent. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated. The Unauthorized Occupant is ordered to vacate the rental unit by June 16, 2025. The Unauthorized Occupant must pay the Landlords $5,645.10, which includes compensation for use of the unit from August 2, 2024, to February 24, 2025, and the application filing fee. Additionally, daily compensation of $26.30 is owed from February 25, 2025, until the unit is vacated.
