What happened

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 7, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $27,023.50, which includes $26,837.50 for the reasonable costs of repairing the damage and $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 7, 2023, they will owe interest at 7% annually on the outstanding balance starting November 8, 2023.
