What happened
Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction because Tenants failed to pay rent. Landlord provided evidence of serving a valid N4 notice and attempting to negotiate a repayment plan through letters and an in-person visit, all of which Tenants ignored. Tenants did not attend the hearing and have made no payments since the application was filed.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective November 29, 2025. Tenants can void this order by paying $8,909.15 on or before November 29, 2025. If the order is not voided, Tenants must move out by that date. Tenants are also ordered to pay $5,336.00 to Landlord, representing arrears up to the hearing date plus fees, minus the rent deposit and interest. Daily compensation of $69.82 applies from November 11, 2025, until the unit is vacated.
