What happened
The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy because the Tenant transferred occupancy to an Unauthorized Occupant without consent. An initial order was issued in favor of the Landlord. The Tenant and Unauthorized Occupant requested a review of that order, claiming they were unable to participate effectively and that a serious error was made by the previous Member. The Tenant provided a medical note, and the Unauthorized Occupant claimed he was not a party or properly notified.
The ruling
The request to review the original order (LTB-L-059861-25) is denied. The original order, which likely terminated the tenancy and ordered the eviction of the Unauthorized Occupant, remains in full force and effect. The Adjudicator found no merit in the claims of serious error or inability to participate.
