What happened

The Landlords applied for compensation for unpaid utilities and property damage, and to terminate the tenancy. The claims arose from the Tenants' failure to pay a $406.23 water bill, failure to provide proof of tenant insurance as required by the lease, and causing damage to the garage door. The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords a total of $2,228.78. This amount consists of $406.23 for unpaid water utilities, $1,621.55 for the cost to repair the damaged garage door, and the $201.00 application fee. The Landlords' claim for daily compensation was denied.
