What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to substantial interference with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest. The Landlord alleged issues with smoking marijuana, causing disturbance and inconvenience to the neighbor, outstanding utility bills, suspicious criminal activity, constant banging in the basement, and the Tenant's son's behavior.
The ruling
The tenancy will continue if the Tenants meet the conditions to pay the outstanding utility costs of $785.49 and not smoke marijuana inside or outside the rental unit. If the Tenants fail to comply with the conditions, the Landlord may apply to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants.
