What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not void the N4 notice by paying the arrears.

The ruling

Unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $1,485 by June 30, 2024, the tenancy will be terminated. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must pay the landlord $1,485 and $17.98 per day in compensation starting May 29, 2024 until they move out.
