What happened

The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Despite receiving notice of the hearing and communicating with the Landlord's agent about a promise to pay the arrears, the Tenant failed to attend the hearing or satisfy the debt as promised.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 3, 2025, unless the Tenant pays $4,242.00 by October 31, 2025, or $5,287.00 by November 3, 2025, to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must move out by November 3, 2025, and pay the Landlord $3,231.36 plus daily compensation of $34.36 from October 2, 2025, until they vacate.
