What happened
The Landlord applied for eviction due to rent arrears. At the hearing, both parties mutually agreed to a consent order. The order terminates the tenancy unless the Tenant pays the outstanding amount of $10,716.00 by April 30, 2025, or a higher amount by May 15, 2025. If payment is not made, the Tenant must vacate by May 15, 2025, and pay the Landlord $10,311.24 plus daily compensation.
The ruling
Based on a consent agreement, the tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays the Landlord $10,716.00 by April 30, 2025, or $11,466.00 by May 15, 2025, to void the order. If the Tenant fails to pay, they must vacate by May 15, 2025, and pay the Landlord $10,311.24 plus daily compensation of $24.66 from April 15, 2025, until move-out.
