What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the parties had executed an N11 agreement to end the tenancy. The Tenant denied signing the N11 and did not want to terminate the tenancy.

The ruling

The Landlord and Tenant executed an N11 agreement to terminate the tenancy on 2024-08-31. The Tenant later denied signing the agreement, but the Landlord's and his wife's testimony was found credible. The tenancy is terminated, but the eviction is postponed to 2025-01-31 to allow the Tenant time to find a new home. The Tenant must pay the $186 application fee.
