What happened

The Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to rent arrears. The Tenant raised Section 82 issues concerning maintenance, specifically water stains, a drywall crack, a roof leak, and hardwood flooring issues. The Tenant sought relief from eviction due to financial hardship related to WSIB benefits and his young son's residency.

The ruling
