What happened
The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant because the rental unit is the superintendent's premises and the tenant's employment as superintendent has ended.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and the Tenant terminated effective March 30, 2022. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before May 15, 2023. If the unit is not vacated on or before May 15, 2023, then starting May 16, 2023, the Landlord may file this order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) so that the eviction may be enforced. The Tenant shall pay to the Landlords $21,936.20, which represents compensation for the use of the unit from April 6, 2022 to March 9, 2023, less any payments made by the Tenant. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlords compensation of $64.90 per day for the use of the unit starting March 10, 2023 until the date the Tenant moves out of the unit. The Tenant shall also pay to the Landlord $186.00 for the cost of filing the application.
