What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant because the Landlords in good faith require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation for at least one year. The Landlords served a valid N12 notice on the Tenant.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by August 31, 2023. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,279.77 for use of the unit from April 5, 2023 to June 13, 2023, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $36.16 per day for use of the unit from June 14, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
