What happened

The ruling

The tenants are ordered to pay the landlord $12,507.67, which includes the rent arrears up to December 31, 2022 and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. If the tenants do not pay the full amount by May 7, 2023, they will start to owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
