What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the tenants pay $7,393.26 by January 31, 2024 or $8,761.44 by February 6, 2024 to void the order. If the tenants do not pay, they must move out by February 6, 2024 and pay the landlord $4,234.18 plus daily compensation of $44.98 from December 22, 2023 until move-out.
