What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because the rental unit is the superintendent's premises and the Tenants' employment as superintendent has ended.

The ruling

The Landlord is entitled to an eviction order pursuant to section 94 of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 as the Tenants' employment as superintendents has ended and they have not vacated the rental unit within one week. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $12,369.33 in arrears and costs, as well as $70.68 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting December 1, 2024 until the date they move out.
