What happened
Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlords collected or retained money illegally, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit, harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenants, and withheld or interfered with their vital services.
The ruling
The Landlords shall pay $7,212.00 to the Tenants by guaranteed funds on or before March 27, 2025. If the Landlords do not pay the full amount by the due date, they will owe interest at 5.00% annually on the outstanding balance. The Tenants have the right to collect the full amount or any outstanding balance at any time. This order resolves all issues in the T1 and T2 applications.
