What happened
Tenant 1 and Tenant 2 requested a review of an LTB order that dismissed their application against the Landlord. The original application (T2) alleged that the Landlord substantially interfered with their enjoyment of the unit and engaged in harassment. The Tenants' review request claimed that the original hearing member made serious errors in evaluating noise complaints from an upstairs unit and in making determinations regarding a fridge issue that the Tenants believed should have been handled under a separate T6 application.
The ruling
The Landlord and Tenant Board denied the Tenants' request for a review of the order issued on July 15, 2025. The Board found no serious error in the hearing member's decision to dismiss the Tenants' claims of harassment and substantial interference. The original order remains confirmed and unchanged.
