What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord served the Tenant with a valid N4 Notice and N8 Notice, but the Tenant did not void the notices by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant pays $20,232 to void the order by March 16, 2024. If the Tenant does not pay, the Tenant must move out by March 16, 2024 and pay the Landlord $15,745.86 plus daily compensation of $54.54 per day until the Tenant moves out.
