What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent and overcrowding. The Landlords served a valid N4 notice, and the Tenants did not void the notice by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants pay $23,786 by January 31, 2024 or $26,586 by February 15, 2024 to void the order. If the Tenants do not void the order, they must vacate by February 15, 2024 and pay the Landlords $18,525.14 plus daily compensation.
