What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Landlord's good faith requirement of the rental unit for personal use, the Tenant's substantial interference with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment, the Tenant or someone the Tenant permitted causing damage to the premises, and the Tenant or someone the Tenant permitted committing an illegal act. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date. The Tenant requested a review of the order and that the order be stayed until the request to review the order is resolved.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, but the eviction is delayed until November 30, 2023 to allow the Tenant time to find new accommodation.
