What happened
The Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to rent arrears. During the videoconference hearing, the parties reached a consent agreement where the Tenant agreed to either pay the outstanding balance to void the eviction or vacate the unit by a specific date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2025, unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $2,899.54. If the Tenant fails to pay or move out, the Landlord can enforce the eviction starting October 1, 2025. If the tenancy terminates, the Tenant owes the Landlord $505.49 plus daily compensation of $52.76 until they vacate.
