What happened

The Tenant filed an application alleging the Landlord entered the unit illegally, changed locks without providing keys, harassed the Tenant, and failed to provide 72 hours for property removal following an eviction by the Sheriff. After an initial order was issued, the Tenant requested a review, claiming they were unable to participate effectively due to lack of internet access to their evidence and alleging the Landlord submitted evidence late.

The ruling

The Landlord and Tenant Board denied the Tenant's request to review the order dated December 8, 2025. The Board found no serious error in the previous proceeding, noting that the Tenant's inability to access the internet during the hearing was compensated for by the Member sharing the evidence. The original order remains confirmed and unchanged.
