What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants because the Landlord has entered into an agreement of purchase and sale of the rental unit and the purchaser in good faith requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must move out of the rental unit on or before May 31, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Landlord is ordered to pay the Tenants $750 as compensation by May 15, 2023.
