What happened
The Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlords entered the rental unit illegally, substantially interfered with the Tenant's reasonable enjoyment, and harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant. The Landlords applied for an order requiring the Tenant to pay rent arrears and other costs.
The ruling
The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlords $1,500 for rent arrears, less the $1,000 abatement for the illegal entry. The Tenant must pay the full amount by July 25, 2023, or will owe interest.
