What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Landlord's good faith requirement of the rental unit for personal residential occupation for at least one year. The Landlord provided the required N12 notice and compensation to the Tenant.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 21, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement starting July 22, 2023. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord compensation of $69.04 per day for use of the unit starting June 16, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
