What happened

The Tenant filed an application alleging the Landlord entered her rental unit illegally on July 21, 2022. The Landlord admitted to entering without notice, claiming he believed the unit was abandoned as the Tenant was in the process of moving out following an N11 agreement to terminate the tenancy on July 31, 2022. The Tenant provided video evidence of the entry. The Board found the entry was illegal.
